How does it work?
A small fee buys you a six-month subscription. That’s it no other fees. ACSW takes no commission from anyone. During your six month subscription, you can send as many ads for jobs to our Members as you like. An “ad for a job” could be a freelance booking for one morning, to cover a class or team meeting, or it could be a salaried permanent post or anything in between. Organisations that provide training or other services for language service professionals can also place one ad for their services during that time.
To advertise a job or your services, just fill out a form and send it to us. We format it and send to our members via private mailing list and the private Members section of our website. Members will apply direct to you.
ACSW will never share any information about our Members or our Jobs & Opportunities Subscribers with anyone. We will not recommend any particular Member to an employer, or recommend any particular employer above any other. We do however ask that subscribers provide enough information for us to be able to verify their legal trading status or employment.
Do you employ CSWs?
The Association of Communication Support Workers is a not-for-profit member-led organisation, dedicated to supporting CSWs through network opportunities and training. We organise workshops, training and networking events. We are the national voice of CSWs, working with other organisations to negotiate standards, boundaries and regulations. ACSW staff all work voluntarily.
Jobs & Opportunities is a way for employers who are recruiting CSWs to get directly in touch with our Members. ACSW represents a wide range of skills and backgrounds, some at interpreter level, but our Members have one thing in common: they want to develop their range of skills. So by using our Jobs & Opportunities service, not only are you reaching out to CSWs who have already displayed an interest in doing a good job, but you know that 100% of your fee goes towards developing the skills of CSWs across the UK.
