BSL Interpreter Required in Lewisham

Postby helping hands » Mon Jan 13, 2014 11:25 am

We are looking for BSL interpreters to assist with a training session and then meetings with a volunteer who is deaf.

The training (dates can be decided around your availability) will either be two 3.5 hour sessions or a one day 6 hour session (including breaks). If we decide on the longer one day session two BSL interpreters will be required.

The meetings will then take place after the training about every 2 months and will last no longer than an hour.
Both training and meetings will take place at Volunteer Centre Lewisham offices or a location close to our offices.

Volunteers can either opt to assist with both training and meetings or just one part.

This role would be ideal for someone who is a trainee interpreter needing to collect evidence or someone completing their Level 6 qualification.
