Training on how to use CSWs
ACSW Presenters required.
ACSW Project for implementing a training session for teachers/tutors in education.
ACSW is creating a training session to encourage good practice for teaching Deaf students in mainstream classes, and how to use a CSW. The aim is to provide information to a wide variety of teaching professionals: Teachers of all student ages, Tutors in FE/HE establishments, support staff and administrative staff. After attending the training session, delegates should have a better awareness of the role of a CSW, how to modify teaching strategies & resources to include Deaf students, understand the needs of a Deaf student and the role of ACSW.

This group will be made up of CSWs, Deaf consultants and professional CSW team leaders (names to be announced). If you would like to volunteer for this research group, please email Membership Secretary
At the end of this consultation period, the modified membership criteria and fees will come into force, and those who are already members of ACSW will be allocated appropriate membership status.
